This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, amendments, and refunds are handled for bookings made through Airport Car Parking. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.
1. Booking Flexibility Tiers
- •Premium Fully Flexible: Cancel or amend up to 2 hours before your scheduled arrival for a full refund (minus a small administrative transaction fee). Ideal for business travellers and families.
- •Standard Flexible: Cancellations or changes permitted up to 24 or 48 hours prior to your scheduled drop-off (as specified during checkout).
- •Saver / Non-Flex (Promotional): High-discount budget rates. These bookings are 100% non-refundable and non-amendable. Clearly indicated at the time of booking.
2. How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel your booking, please use our self-service portal or contact our customer support team using the booking reference provided in your confirmation email. Cancellation must be completed digitally via our portal or in writing by email. Telephone cancellations may not be processed without written confirmation.
3. Refund Process & Timeline
- •Cancellation is validated via our Self-Service Portal; the refund trigger is sent to your bank immediately.
- •Refunds are issued exclusively to the original credit/debit card or digital wallet used at the time of booking (for anti-money laundering compliance).
- •Timeline: Processed within 24 hours by Airport Car Parking; banks typically require 5–10 business days to credit the funds to your account.
- •Administrative fees (where applicable) are non-refundable.
4. Amendments to Bookings
- •Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) updates are free and available at any time before your arrival via the customer portal.
- •Changes to travel dates/times, vehicle type, or parking option are subject to availability and may incur additional charges if the new booking is at a higher rate.
- •All amendment requests must be submitted before your parking start time.
5. No-Show Policy
No refund will be issued if you fail to arrive at the car park without prior cancellation. The parking space was reserved exclusively for your vehicle and held for you from the booked start time. If you are unable to use the space, please cancel as early as possible in accordance with your booking type.
6. Flight Delays
Most Park Mark® accredited parking partners offer a 2-hour grace period for delayed return flights at no extra charge. Delays exceeding this may result in an Overstay Levy charged at the standard gate rate, payable directly to the parking operator. We recommend informing the car park directly if your return flight is significantly delayed.
7. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of nationwide travel lockdowns, terminal closures, or extreme weather events beyond either party's control, Airport Car Parking will advocate on your behalf to secure vouchers or case-by-case refunds from third-party parking operators. Each case will be reviewed individually. We cannot guarantee refunds in all force majeure situations, as this depends on the individual parking operator's policies.
8. Third-Party Parking Providers
Airport Car Parking acts as a booking platform connecting customers with independent parking operators. In addition to this policy, third-party providers' own operational policies may also apply. We will always provide you with information about the specific cancellation terms applicable to your chosen parking option at the time of booking.
